At home procedure:
Before teeth whitening can commence it is vital that your mouth is in excellent health. We recommend that you visit one of our dentists or hygienists first, as often a scale and or polish is required prior to any home whitening.
This will require impressions to be taken first for the bleaching trays to be made specifically for you.
Whitening trays are usually ready for you to collect within a day or two, along with the bleaching material and full instructions. This treatment is done by applying whitening gel to your trays for anywhere between 2 to 8 hours daily for around 3-10 days or as instructed by your dentist or hygienist.
A take home pack is provided for you along with your mouth trays and whitening gel, which will be available for collection within a day or two.
With any whitening procedure is it advisable to refrain from eating or drinking any foods which may stain the teeth (for around 48 hours after treatment) such as red wine, tea, coffee, beetroot, carrot juice or curry.
